Yalwal and Monkey Gum

This trip will explore the area in Morton National Park, known as Yalwal. On Saturday morning we will drive down via Wombat Flat and find a suitable campground. We will then explore the area, with exact routes dependent on participants preferences, but will be challenging. On Sunday we will depart via the Monkey Gum Track. This will be an extremely challenging trip and is only suitable for very experienced drivers with modified vehicles. Minimum vehicles requirements include a 2 inch lift, at least one winch, aggressive tyres and rock sliders. Vehicle damage is likely and you will need to be fit enough to walk the tracks and assist with track building. Please review ST4WDC trip classification for Grade 5
