Wee Jasper and Yarrangobilly
Summary: This is a relaxed trip over the last long weekend before alpine tracks close for winter. We head off from Uriarra Station through the Brindies to Wee Jasper for an early camp on the banks of Micalong Creek giving people the opportunity to explore the area or just laze around the camp. On day two we head down through Barnett’s Rd and Broken Cart Fire Trail stopping at Coolamine Homestead and Blue Waterholes, then proceeding on to Ghost Gully campground for the night. Day three we visit Yarrangobilly Caves and Thermal Pool, and head home via Adaminaby and Boboyan Road.
Camper Trailers are welcome. Bookings will need to be made and fees apply for Kosciusko NP access, camping on both nights, and the visit to Yarrangobilly.
