Victorian High Country Ramble Vers 2
Activity Description:
The concept of this trip is to have varying degrees of driving difficulty, to enable members from the most inexperienced to very experienced off road drivers, to participate in driving some of the tracks of the Victorian High Country. Vehicles must have a minimum of all terrain tyres in good condition. We will be base camping at Italian Flats in Dargo so camper trailers are welcome. Small convoys will do daily drives to the numerous tracks in the area. Some tracks will be at the extreme end of grade 3 and only modified 4wd’s and experienced drivers will participate. Some of the tracks that will be tackled by more experienced drivers are Chromite, B1, Mt Margaret, Burgoyne Tracks for the lesser experienced will be Billy Goat, Butcher Country, Caledonia, Zeka, Cynthia Spur, Dogs grave, Crooked River, Haunted Stream and many more. I will be looking for mini trip leaders to lead the daily drives. More details will be posted as we get closer to the proposed date.
