Activity Description:

9th – 11th March 2019 Day one: 9am meet at Braidwood, travel from Braidwood to Moruya via Araluen and Deua National Park, lunch at Moruya then down the highway to camp on private property on Tilba Inlet. Aim to arrive between 2 and 3pm. Time to set up camp, go for a swim, surf, go fishing or make an early start on happy hour. Easy drive, well-made dirt roads. Day two: a few options for day two, we can explore some of the tracks around Tilba, check out the yummy cheese at the Tilba Cheese company or just hang around the campsite, walking, swimming, fishing, reading etc. Day three: head west to Nerrigundah then across to Countegany. Some steep sections along here but generally fairly easy driving. From Courtegany to Jerangle Road across to Michalego then back home. Grade two trip, new members and camper trailers welcome, experience not necessary, sense of humour mandatory. Campground cost $10 per person per night ($5 children). There are no facilities at the camp site and firewood is not readily available. There is a toilet and shower approx. 500 metres away which we can use. Bring your own water and food and bring some firewood to share. Limited spaces available, maximum of 10 vehicles. A wait list be established.
