“Safe One” Basic Driver Training
CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN/FLOODING. Pre-Night. – The Pre-night is held in Canberra on the Wednesday evening 26th October, commencing at 19:00 (7pm) at Weston Raider’s Club. Attendance at this theory session is mandatory prior to attending the driving component.
Monday 31 October – Tuesday 1 November Course . – This is the main driving course consisting of theory and practical driving sessions. Note the convoy leaves on the afternoon of Sunday 30 October.
What to Bring for the weekend: 1: Yourself & family and a 4WD in good mechanical condition 2: Camping gear for 2 nights stay 3: Food (including happy hour stuff) and clothing for 2 days. 4: Chairs to sit on around the fire 5: Recovery gear, as per hand out given at vehicle inspection or pre-meeting 6: Garbage bags for all your rubbish to take home 7: Notebook & pen 8: Camera 9: Full tank of fuel 10: Torch 11: Drinking water 12 Your vehicle’s manual (if you have it). There is a large First Aid Kit at Talooge and a gas BBQ.
