Overnight in a freezer
Activity Description:
This trip is a quick weekend overnight trip to see if we can camp in the snow near Thredbo, Will be leaving Calwell servo at 9am and convoy down to Jindabyne where we can top up with alpine diesel for those equipped with diesel because it will be cold most likely. From there head towards Guthega road and turn off to the campsite Please bring extra warm clothes and bedding, food and water, and be aware the butane stoves won’t work in this weather so alternative methods are required. A parks pass is necessary which runs at 29$ for the weekend 24hrs Not too much 4wding but if the weather is bad during the week the entrance to the campsite will be a good challenge. Please bring snow chains as weather depending we may require them we will be stopping in Cooma for those needing to hire them
