Golf and Camp; Country Show Day at Tumut

16 payers – 9 Hole Golf afternoon after a couple of hours at the Tumut Country Show Day.
Time to don our Club shirts, show our support and spread the wealth in a regional area hit by the 2019-2020 fires.
The primary objective of this trip is to support the locals & have fun, so bring along your best humour – even if it’s helped by the little book of jokes for the trip

Meet at Uriarra Managers Cottage (Corner of Uriarra Rd & Brindabella Rd), departing at 08:00 driving straight to Tumut via Brindabella Road arriving at the showground around 09:45.
Spend a couple of hours at the Tumut Country Show Day & support the local economy how every you wish to do so.
Lunch at the Royal (I’ve made a reservation for 16 people at 11:45)

Tee off for 9 holes of Ambrose golf. A fun version of Golf for the golfers & non-golfers alike. Basically, all players in each team tee off and then all team members take their second shot from the chosen best tee shot. And the next shot, and the next shot… until a ball goes into the hole. More details on the rules will be provided to all players before the trip.

Costs (paid on the day)
– Green Fees $20
– Golf Carts $20 (I’ve reserved 8 carts) – limit of ten carts for the course, so if you want one any extras you will need to book ahead with Helen on 02 6947 1475 )
– Club hire $15 if needed.

13:10 – 13:30 Start Teeing Off 13:10
16:30 – 17:00 Trip ends in Tumut.

Return to CBR arriving back to Uriarra around 18:45

The 10 vehicle limit is flexible, but the 16 players (4 x teams of 4) is the maximum.
