Geehi
Activity Description:
As at 5/2/17, this trip is full. As at 12/4/17, the wait list is now closed. The plan is to spend 3 nights at Geehi to relax and explore the area in cars and on foot. Note 4 day trip Sat 22nd to Tue 25th(being ANZAC Day); Mon 24th is not a public holiday. We’ll head down on Saturday via Boboyan Road and Adaminaby, pick-up KNP Passes in Khancoban ($17 x 3 = $51 per car) and seek out best possible camping arrangements at Geehi (no advance bookings possible). There will be two days available to do as you please in the area before returning to Canberra on ANZAC Day. http://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/camping-and-accommodation/campgrounds/old-geehi-campground provides info about what’s in the area. Note that it will be late April and weather can be variable and become very cold quickly, and cold overnight. Need to take own firewood. River crossings most likely (having completing river course not required).
