Exploring Outback NSW

We will be trying to stay on the dirt as much as possible, and to the chosen route. However if road conditions change we may have to choose differently. We will also look at various options for side trips at various places which may include some more difficult tracks. There is lots to see at various stops, you can choose to do as much or as little as you would like.
Caravans and camper trailers welcome. We will be staying in some places that dogs are not allowed .
Approximate cost for camping will be $170 ish. Once nominated and accepted you will need to book your own accommodation when the trip has been finalised.
We will meet at Eugowra, lunchtime on Saturday 29th March. Then head out together to Nangar National park at 130pm, staying at the campground ($6).
Sunday we will head off to Lake Cargelligo to stay at one of the 2 free camps. Here for 2 nights
Tuesday we will pack up and head to Hillston, Ivanhoe and head towards Wilcannia. Stopping 1 night along the way ( yet to be decided).
Wednesday we travel to Silverton for 2 nights staying at Penrose Park campground (approx. $30 pn)
Friday we pack up and head to Menindee Lakes camping at Main Weir 2 for 3 nights, free camp.
Monday Mungo National Park for 2 nights. Camping at the main camp ($25pn for 2)
There will be a cost if you would like to join the Mungo lunette guided tour $50pp
Wednesday heading towards Hay, camping at Sandy Point free camp. 2 nights
Friday driving off the northern route following the Murrumbidgee river then turning off towards Griffith then on to Beckom. Free camp at the park. Dinner at the pub
Saturday Last day pack up and make your own way home
