Drive-in At Talooge
Activity Description:
Convoy into Talooge then break for morning tea and quick camp set up for those staying the night. Next we do a tour of the main tracks and then move on to driving a few of the less difficult tracks at Talooge (Tracks 2 and 3 then the Bottle Shop). Break for lunch at the creek then run a couple of the tracks in reverse and tour wombat flat. Next we head back to camp for dinner and set up the drive-in movie theatre. Break out the popcorn and watch the movie from the comfort of your 4WD or (if the whether is good) bring along a camp chair. It is cold this time of year, so if you don’t want to camp the night we will organise an escort out to the main road to make sure you find your way back to civilisation. This trip is ideal for new members who have not yet done driver training. Note, however, that we may use different tracks if the weather is not kind to us.
