Day Loop on Your Doorstep
The intention for this Grade 2 single-day loop-trip is to take in a range of country on our doorstep with a mix of dirt and bitumen. Starting in Queanbeyan and looping through Hoskinstown, Captains Flat, Jerangle, Peak View, Numeralla, we’d stop in Cooma for lunch, possibly at one of the pubs.
The return leg would be via Shannons Flat and Boboyan Road (maybe airing down a bit for comfort depending on the quality of the road). We would stop at sites along the way, such as Hospital Hill Lookout and Brayshaw’s Hut.
The day would finish at Tharwa, with people heading home from there.
