Consolidated "Safe One" Basic Driver Training at Talooge Park

Activity Description:

COURSE FULLY BOOKED, RESERVES WILL BE TAKEN FROM THE NEXT COURSE SHOULD THERE BE DROP OUTS This is the Club’s official Basic Driver Training Course. What to Bring: 1: Yourself & family and a 4WD in good mechanical condition 2: Camping gear for 3 nights stay 3: Food (including happy hour stuff) and clothing for 3 days. 4: Chairs to sit on around the fire 5: Recovery gear, as per hand out given at pre meeting 6: Garbage bags for all your rubbish to take home 7: Notebook & pen 8: Camera 9: Full tank of fuel 10: Torch 11: Drinking water. There is a large First Aid Kit at Talooge and a gas BBQ. For more specific details about the course including participant instructions please contact Peter Butterfield at the club meetings. To book on this training event please nominate on the ST4WDC web site. Note; You must attend the pre vehicle inspection night to be eligible to attend this course. You must confirm your attendance on the course one week prior to the course or your place may be given to members waiting to do the course NOTE THIS COURSE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR VEHICLES WITH ROOF TOP TENTS OR CAMPER STYLE SLIDE ON BACKS TO UTES

Membership

The club provides two levels of membership

full member           family member

To be a Full Member you must own a suitable four wheel drive vehicle and hold a driver's licence. Basic Driver Training is provided only to the Full Members. Partners and family members of the Full Member are categorised as Family Members and may undertake Basic Driver training by becoming full members but pay only the annual membership fee component (not the joining fee) and may revert to family membership after 12 months. Details of all membership entitlements are provided at Section 3 (1) of the club by-laws.
