Camp Oven Cooking (at Talooge)
Activity Description:
The weekend of the 14th and 15th of May should be a busy one at Talooge, with Michael’s “Hang Out” trip and I believe Doc Baldwin is running a photography seminar. To boost the fun level even further I’m running a camp-oven cooking weekend at the same time, to give us all the chance to practice our skills with the camp oven and learn new techniques and recipes. So please join us to camp for the weekend and spend some time socializing around a fire, while we explore the many ways of using a camp oven and some great meals. I hope to have a get-together meal on Saturday night and possibly share our favorites (depending on how people feel about that and how confident they are about turning out a good dinner!). Bring a camp oven if you have one, but you’re welcome even if you don’t have one (yet). I plan to travel down on Friday afternoon. Members can travel down at any time that suits. If new members are uncertain about the route in to the property, please contact me to arrange a party to travel with.
