Bendethra Camping

A casual weekend camping, cooking over the fire and enjoying good company in Bendethra Valley.

Meeting in Queanbeyan (McDonalds carpark) on Saturday morning at 9am followed by a pleasant drive down to Bendethra via Tallaganda State Forest, Snowball, Middle Mountian Road, Minuma Range Fire trail and Dampier Mountian Fire trail. Travel time about 2½ to 3 hours dependant on convoy speed.

Plan will be to leave Bendethra Sunday about midday aiming to be back in Queanbeyan by 3pm.

Please note that NSW National Parks do not allow camper trailers on Damier Mountian Fire Trail. If you would like to bring your camper and join us, you are welcome and can travel into Bendethra via Moruya (Little Sugarloaf Road, Bendethra Fire trail). Please let me know if are doing this and I will ensure we keep a radio on so you can contact us and get our location once you arrive.

For everyone attending you will need to book yourself a campsite via NSW National Parks. There are plenty of large areas for our group to camp together by the river.
