Activity Description:
Trip leaders are amongst this club’s most valuable resources, for without trips there would not be a ST4WDC. The basis of this workshop will involve class room theory and hands on practical exercises. The topics that will be covered are: Planning a trip, Trip grading, Expectations of a trip leader, Expectations of a club member, Role of a trip leader, Managing difficult people, Managing the trip, National Parks, Risk assessment, Convoy integrity, Communications, Vehicle recoveries. Participants are expected to be at Talooge on the Friday night as the course will commence at 08:00 Saturday morning Please note participants must have completed Basic Driver Training
