Tantangara Trout
Activity Description:
This will be for those that like to chase the willey trout or just sit back and look over the vista of Tantangara Dam and the surrounding views. Leaving Uriarra Homestead will make our way through the Brindabella’s and onto Brokencart FT, Port Phillip FT skirting the dam until we find a good camp. Members that haven’t completed the Basic Training are welcome and Off Road Trailers can be taken understanding that is a grade 2 trip. As we are camping above the 1500 metre mark it will be cold with the chance of snow. Sunday we will return home via the Namadgi National park. Vehicles are to have AT tyres at a minimum, recovery equipment and a full tank of fuel. Fishing Licences are required in NSW and life jackets are required on all alpine lakes if you are bringing a boat.
