South Coast Winter Escape

During this five day escape we will be base camping at Yadboro Flat Campground on the Clyde River and heading out each day to explore the local area. The campground is free. We have a couple of itineraries planned and if people are interested we would also like to do some exploration drives. There are hundreds of kilometers of tracks between Bateman’s Bay and Milton ranging from quite challenging to very easy. There is a little bit of something for everyone.
Some of the local places of interest include Pigeon House Mountain, The Castle, Budawang National Park, Morton National Park, Shallow Crossing, Misty Mountain and Buckenbowra. The beaches of Ulladulla and Tabourie are only 30 minutes away.
Join us for one, two or five days, whatever suits you.
For cars and camper trailers access to the campground is via the Western Distributor or Lyons Road. We suggest if you plan on bringing a caravan you make your way via Monkey Mountain Road at Termeil.
We both spent a lot of time in this area as children and also lived here while our kids were growing up.
