"Safe One" Basic Driver Training at Talooge Park
Activity Description:
THIS COURSE IS FULLY BOOKED NO FURTHER BOOKINGS WILL BE TAKEN This is the Club’s official Basic Driver Training Course. What to Bring: 1: Yourself & family and a 4WD in good mechanical condition 2: Camping gear for overnight stay 3: Food and Cooking gear for 2 days 4: Chairs to sit on in lessons and around the fire 5: Recovery gear, if you have it, but not essential 6: Garbage bags for all your rubbish to take home 7: Notebook & pen 8: Air compressor 9: Full tank of fuel 10: Torch 11: Drinking water. 12: UHF Radio 13: Front and Rear Recovery Points preferred. There is a large First Aid Kit at Talooge. Also a large gas BBQ For more specific details about the course including participant instructions please contact Peter Butterfield at the club meetings. You must confirm your attendance on the course one week prior to the course or your place may be offered to members waiting to do the course. NOTE THIS COURSE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR VEHICLES WITH ROOF TOP TENTS OR CAMPER STYLE SLIDE ON BACKS TO UTES
