Monkey Gum Day Trip

If you are keen to drive one of the most challenging and fun tracks in NSW, then this might be a trip for you.
This is a grade 5 trip, please acquaint yourself this type of grade and requirements of your vehicle and gear. https://st4wdc.com.au/trip-grading/
As a minimum, your vehicle will need to be suitably capable/modified including: good AT or MT tyres; winch; and full recovery gear. Your vehicle must have been lifted. It is recommended that your vehicle is fitted with rock sliders and underbody protection. Lockers are not essential, but useful.
Monkey Gum is a technically challenging trail that takes several hours to complete. Your nomination will be subject to consideration of your vehicle mods and your driving experience.
We will meet early at McDonalds, Queanbeyan and will be home late the same day – all going to plan. Lunch will be a brief break along the trail as once started, there is not turning back.
This trip is planned for a Friday to beat the weekend traffic on the trail. The date could be flexible. If you’d like to nominate, but can’t manage a Friday, let me know and we will depart on the date of group majority consensus.
