McKillops Bridge and Delegate River Tunnel
If you’ve always wanted to visit the famous McKillops Bridge over the Snowy River, here is your chance!
This trip will take us down Barry Way from Jindabyne to meet the Snowy River. We’ll pass through Suggan Buggan, climbing out of the valley then turning east along McKillops Rd. We’ll break to take in the views of Little River Gorge then continue to McKillops Bridge where we’ll camp for the night at the nearby campground. On Sunday we’ll continue across the bridge and along the Deddick River with a detour to visit the Delegate River Tunnel then making our way home via Delegate, Bombala and Cooma.
This is a grade 2 trip suitable for new members.
