Description

Trip Leaders Planning Day Saturday 27th June This is a day out for current trip leaders to discuss and plan club trips from one day drives to weekend outings grades 3 and upwards. (Max 20 people) Leaving Williamsdale at 9.00am we will drive to Bredbo where we will have morning tea and ponder over maps and suck information out of the minds of long-term trip leaders within the warmth of the Bredbo Pubs dining room. Morning tea and lunch will be had at the Pub putting giving some much-needed revenue back to the locals. Ensuring social distancing rules are met, the Pub is allowing only ST4WDC to be in the dining room, where we will split into smaller groups depending on the type of trips you want to plan. Or we may rotate around (speed tipping) After lunch and river level permitting, we will take a drive across the river up to Poveys hut which is the last remaining hut in the Mount Clear area after the recent fires. Returning back to Canberra by 6pm. Full recovery gear and water blind required, something to take notes, sense of adventure, morning tea being supplied by Pub (committee donating funds) and lunch to be bought from the Pub by each individual, 4.00pm nibbles on the Murrumbidgee whilst airing up prior to returning to Canberra.
