The Postman & Cattlemans Track – Grade 4
Saturday 17–Sunday 18 October 2026

Join us for a weekend 4WD trip along Postmans and Cattlemans tracks. We’ll camp at Postmans campground on Saturday night. The campground has been booked and paid for.

Meet at Nimmitabel Bakery at 8:30 am on Saturday for a 9:00 am departure. Maz and I will be camping in Nimmitabel on Friday night, and you’re welcome to join us there.

Camper trailers are welcome, but caravans are not, as parts of the track can be tight. Please let me know if you plan to bring a camper trailer.

The route includes a crossing of Tantawangalo Creek. I’ll monitor water levels and track conditions before the trip and adjust the plans if the crossing is unsafe.

Bring your camping gear, drinking water, food, a full tank of fuel and your usual recovery equipment. The campground has toilets, but no power or drinking water. Please take all rubbish home.
