The Gungarlin River campground is situated in the Kosciuszko National park on the edge of the Snowy Plain. It features a flat open campground on the rivers edge and is frequently visited by Brumbies. The weather will be cold and there is the potential for snow. The weather will be closely monitored and this trip may be cancelled at short notice if the weather is too unfavourable. It is a relatively easy drive in along well maintained fire trails, but may be slippery if there is snow. This trip allows for camper trailers.
