The selected date is a target date and will be firmed up early next year once I have better confirmation of leave from work etc…I’m putting the trip up now to allow plenty of time for people to plan and accrue leave. Note the departure time is from Mt Dare, so you’ll need to factor getting there and back into your calculations. The aim is to cross the Simpson Desert from Mt Dare to Birdsville. The exact detail of the route taken and timings will be planned in conjunction with those who have confirmed they are able to attend early next year.
