Description

This training course is designed to equip members with the knowledge and skills to confidently undertake sand driving and water crossings. Members wishing to do this course must have been a member of the Club for at least 12 months and have completed the Basic Driver Training Course. Essential Equipment: 4WD in good mechanical condition, Snorkel, Radiator Blind – good fitting, sized for vehicle (or tarp and jockey straps), Recovery Equipment (Snatch Strap, Equaliser Strap, Shackles, Cable Dampener), Compressor (good quality at least 70+LPM), Tyre pressure gauge, Tyre deflator, Diff, Gearbox and Transfer Case Breathers, Hook (to clear out weed from underside of vehicle), Traction Boards (Maxtraxs or equivalent), Shovel, Gloves Tyre changing equipment (remember changing on sand) Plenty of water and food, Sunscreen and a good hat Please commit to this course if you nominate.  Instructors volunteer their time to provide our quality training and respecting this would be appreciated.
