This is the main driving course consisting of theory and practical driving sessions. Pre-Night – We are trying to organise a Pre-night held in Canberra on the Wednesday evening before the training weekend, DATE, commencing at 19:00 (7pm). Details of the venue will be forwarded to participants via email as this may be subject to change. Attendance at this theory session is mandatory prior to attending the driving component. What to Bring for the weekend: 1: Yourself & family and a 4WD in good mechanical condition 2: Camping gear for 2 nights stay 3: Food (including happy hour stuff) and clothing for 2 days. 4: Chairs to sit on around the fire 5: Recovery gear, as per hand out given at vehicle inspection or pre-meeting 6: Garbage bags for all your rubbish to take home 7: Notebook & pen 8: Camera 9: Full tank of fuel 10: Torch 11: Drinking water 12 Your vehicle’s manual (if you have it). There is a large First Aid Kit at Talooge and a gas BBQ.
