Looking for expressions of interest from Club Members to attend a Remote First Aid Training. The training runs over two days and costs $145.00 per person. I will need to have a minimum of 20 people to attend if we wish to have the training in Canberra. NSW Red Cross and ARB are rolling out the Remote First Aid courses and a free ARB snake Bite Kit will be available to students who attend. Basic course description. Provide First Aid in Remote Situations course is designed to equip students with superior first aid response capabilities. The course includes patient management and life support to persons in remote locations and situations, away from readily available emergency response services. The course looks at how to deal with variables that may not be relevant in an urban emergency.
