Kosziusco National Park’s Long Plain is home to some of the best preserved historic huts in the Canberra region. This round trip will include visits to Brayshaws Hut, Tantangara Dam, Curango Homestead, Long Plain and Cooinbil Huts, Coolamine Homestead and Blue Waterholes. We’ll then continue northward for an overnight camp at Perkin’s Flat and return home via Broken Cart FT and Brindabella Rd. Campground bookings are limited so please book with NPWS immediately if approved. Most of the route is grade 2 in dry weather but sections will become difficult if wet. DEPENDANCIES/CONDITIONS: In case of bad weather forecast, trip may be postponed due to potential difficulty getting out of Perkins Flat. SUITABLE FOR TRAILERS: Yes (offroad only).
