The Limestone Creek area of the VHC offers some of the most picturesque bush camping anywhere. This trip will take us south via Alpine Way past Thredbo Village crossing the Murray at Tom Groggin. Then proceeding via the Tom Groggin and Buckwong Tracks south and east onto Limestone Ck Track to reach our camp for the night. Our return route on day 2 will pass through Suggan Buggan then alongside the Snowy River to meet Barry Way northward to Jindabyne. DEPENDANCIES/CONDITIONS: Trip may be rescheduled at short notice due to rainfall affecting Murray River level. SUITABLE FOR TRAILERS: Not recommended.
