The Limestone Creek area of the VHC offers some of the most picturesque bush camping anywhere. This trip will take us south via Barry Way, along the Snowy River and Suggan Buggan before turning west toward Limestone Ck. Our return route on day 2 will continue north via Davies Plain Tk and across the Murray River at Tom Groggin. DEPENDANCIES/CONDITIONS: This trip is dependant on reopening of Davies Plain and Limestone Ck and McCarthy’s Tracks, all scheduled to reopen November 2023. Trip may be rescheduled at short notice due to rainfall affecting Murray River level. SUITABLE FOR TRAILERS: Not recommended. DISTANCE: Total return distance from start 540km. BOOKINGS REQUIRED: None.
