Description
You know how we’ve been bragging about our alternating Culture Weekends and Camping Weekends? Well… this one is basically both in one go — art, history, camping and country roads all bundled into a chilled Bundanon escape.
We’re heading down Friday arvo to set up camp. On Saturday, we meet at the Bundanon Art Museum at 10:00 am, wander around pretending to be cultured, grab lunch (café or BYO fancy sandwich), then drive over to the Homestead and Arthur Boyd’s Studio to admire the scenery and feel very “artsy weekend away” about it. We have a Hipcamp booking made, and can take 7 vehicles into our hipcamp booking. Prices for the Hipcamp will be shared amongst the participants staying there; expected to be around $40-50 per person for camping for the two nights. You must have your own portable toilet to camp as there are no facilities there. Camping is optional — join for Saturday only, stay nearby, or bail afterwards. No judgement. We have a Hipcamp booking made, and can take 7 vehicles into our hipcamp booking. Prices for the Hipcamp will be shared amongst the participants; expected to be around 40-50 per person for camping. You must have your own portable toilet to camp as there are no facilities there.
And if you’re not sprinting back to Canberra on Sunday, we’ll stop at Fitzroy Falls for one last little highlight of the weekend before heading home.
Short version: culture, camping, country roads, good company — all the Maz & Alex weekend energy, minus the chaos.
