The plan is to assist NPs in a pre-summer trail check & clear in the Brindabella NP – starting at 9.00am at Urriara Homestead. The day will start with discussing the day plan, completing a quick safety brief, and then forming a couple of groups to head off and drive as many of the northern reserve trails as possible. Reporting back at the end of the day with a debrief with NPs on the tracks driven and their current condition. As chain sawing may be required only certified chainsaw operators will be allowed to operate chainsaws on the day, however we still need clearers and spotters, remembering those who attend are required to be NSW NP Volunteers.
