Chainsaw Training 8th and 9th August somewhere in the Brindabella Valley property to be confirmed. Through the NSW/ACT 4WD Association, NPWS is subsidising accredited chainsaw training. 2 Day courses that normally cost $580 will cost $300. The course will be run by GetAbout and will only available to registered club members who have also registered on the NPWS Volunteer website. At the moment there are only 100 places available state-wide, and there is a course scheduled for our region with a limited number of 12 places. You will be responsible for payment of the $300 contribution and must have all your own PPE and chainsaw (or access to these), and have registered as a volunteer on the NP website.
